  • Human Resource Officer

    Location: Hybrid working modality → Work from home and at Jhamsikhel Office

    Terms: Full-time → Mon - Fri 9am - 6.30pm

    About the role: We are looking to hire a human resource officer who will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and implementing company policies and practices. The HR officer along with the support of senior management would also be responsible for overlooking the workflow in various departments as well as the company as a whole. Ideal candidates would have experience in working in HR in the technology sector or adjacent industries hiring and working with computer engineers. 

    Responsibilities of Human Resource Officer: 

    • Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
    • Lead the internship cohort from hiring, onboarding, and supporting relevant HR activities including contract negotiation. 
    • Support in resolving conflicts through positive and professional mediation.
    • Consistently recruit excellent staff and manage application tracking systems while following recruitment best practices and equal employment opportunity protocols. 
    • Manage the talent acquisition process, which includes recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants. 
    • Collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
    • Maintain a smooth onboarding process including training, ongoing counseling and coaching our staff.
    • Analyze trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
    • Support in creating learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
    • Work with managers and senior management team to conduct periodic performance and wage reviews, along with evaluating the effectiveness and creating revision to the performance metrics with support and advisory from senior management.
    • Implement clear policies and ensure policy awareness.
    • Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
    • Maintain compliance with Nepal’s laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; periodically review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
    • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
    • Communicate with employees more easily and efficiently.
    • Creating clear and concise necessary HR reports.
    • Report to senior management.
    • Maintain and report on workplace health and safety compliance.
    • Handle workplace investigations, disciplinary and termination procedures.
    • Maintain employee and workplace privacy.
    • Carry out necessary administrative duties.
    • Perform other duties as assigned. 

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or equivalent (Management, Business Administration etc).
    • Experience in human resources or related fields.
    • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
    • Experience in training and coaching staff.
    • Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes and workplace investigations.
    • Experience in following and maintaining workplace privacy.
    • Ability to give presentations.
    • Knowledge of relevant technology, HR and security laws.
    • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks including HR software 
    • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook and equivalent Google suite application 
    • Verbal, written and comprehension fluency in both Nepali and English

  • Mid Level DotNet Engineer

    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

    • 2+ Years of Experience as a .NET developer.
    • High-level managerial skills.
    • Knowledge of Asp.NET MVC.
    • Knowledge of Asp.Net Core will be a plus.

  • Senior React Native Engineer

    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

    • 4+ Years of Experience as a React Native Developer
    • Understanding of OOP in Javascript and how it applies to code quality
    • Ability to transform design mockups and wireframes into functional components
    • Strong skillset in creative problem solving
    • Background in iOS and Android is a definite plus, but not required
    • Prior experience in mobile ecommerce is a plus
    • Experience with Subversion and/or Git source control
    • Experience with RESTful APIs is a plus

    WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

    • Work in a fast paced environment that develops growth, collaboration, and innovation.
    • Collaborate with backend developers to create a seamless, robust, and efficient interface between the UI and the APIs.
    • Write code and perform unit tests to ensure the integrity of the frontend code.
    • Work closely with the QA team to ensure bug free code.
    • Participate in frontend team code reviews.
    • Seek new ways to improve quality and efficiency in our processes.
